Deposit Slips are available as either Duplicate or Triplicates. Most Canadian Banks other than RBC Royal Bank only require duplicate deposit books so that you keep a copy in the book, and you tear out and give one deposit slip to the bank. RBC on the other hand typically requires your deposit books to be in Triplicate Format where RBC Royal Bank will keep 2 of the copies, and you again keep one copy in your deposit book for your own accounting records.
We also have a smaller more compact deposit book that is around the size of personal cheques that only allows up to 10 cheques to be deposited per sheet. These smaller deposit books are only available in a Triplicate copy and are most commonly ordered for RBC Royal Bank customers.
Deposit Books are booked in 50’s and are available in 2 different sizes. The most common size is a 7″ x 7″ Square deposit book that allows for 17 cheques to be added on each sheet. These larger deposit books are available as a Duplicate or Triplicate book.
